From a few tiny seeds, great things can grow!
Families with limited food resources often eat the same simple meals all the time in order to fill their stomachs. Often, these meals won't provide the nutrients that are especially important for growing children. Concern provides the seeds and training needed for a mother to grow her own kitchen garden at home. This will provide her with nutritious vegetables such as spinach and tomatoes that can be added to her childrens' meals, giving them a healthy source of food all year round. Plant-tastic!
This gift is eligible for Aid Match!
This Christmas when you shop with Concern before 24 December the UK government will match the value of your gift donations pound for pound. Just watch out for the Free From Hunger logo to see which gifts are eligible. The matched funding from the UK government will go towards our work to improve the health and nutrition of mothers and children under five in the Central African Republic.
